Nairn Robertson / Estimating Projects

Why things take longer you think (and what you can do about it)

From wallpapering your front room to delivering large digital design and build projects, things do seem to take longer we expect. In this workshop we will introduce you to some simple but powerful concepts which help us understand why this is the case, and what we can try to do about it.

You will learn:

  • How good your estimates are
  • If it’s better to over or underestimate
  • Why late projects can get later
  • Why you’re kidding yourself

Attendees will also meet the Cone of Uncertainty, try different estimating techniques and explore other simple steps we can all take to help you deliver your projects, products and deliverables on time.
